Seminar 1 — “The Percussion Paradigm” ©
"The Percussion Paradigm" The sophisticated rhythms that non-musicians can produce is remarkable—they literally rise beyond their own expectations. Participants come away from this seminar amazed at what they were able to do and at the joyous feelings engendered by a mutually shared experience with their colleagues.
The Percussion Paradigm moves people beyond their pre-conceived notions of what they are able to accomplish, both as an individual and as a team.
The message of using team-work to produce exceptional results by putting the common goal ahead of individual agendas, resonates with participants. Professional state-of-the-art drums are provided for use by all participants. This seminar brings new perspective to team-building, reinforces good communication and “raises the bar of achievement.” It’s flexible in terms of number of participants—anywhere from 10 to 50+ and can be tailored to your time needs.
There are three parts—
- An overview, with warm up exercises and introducing the concept;
- Learning how to play complex rhythms and to ‘groove’ as a group;
- Experiencing the amazing effect of everyone playing together as a single unit, regardless of individual abilities
Seminar 2 — “Execs in the Orchestra” ©
"Execs in the Orchestra" Maestro Craig Parsons conducts an interactive seminar with management members sitting side by side world-class musicians in a symphony orchestra.
The first half features the insight and wit of this nationally respected conductor, composer and clinician. Maestro Parsons leads your management team in a dynamic, fast paced session that emphasizes the skills, discipline and innovation found in the upper echelon of the music world. The participants begin with a unique set of warm-ups, enjoy a performance and finally join in to participate--sitting literally in the orchestral!
In this interactive workshop, participants gain lessons from the orchestra conductor and learn the secrets to leading and inspiring highly trained, highly critical and often times, highly difficult individuals. The methods the conductor uses to mold and shape masterpieces of music depends on his or her ability to draw the best from the best. These same principles apply to the modern corporate culture. This activity culminates with the participants forming their own musical groups and competing as performers.
This inspiring seminar features:
- Executives experiencing first-hand, the work of highly trained and talented players as they blend their individual abilities to create musical results that are only possible as a group.
- The techniques for your management team to function at a new level—the world-class level of top professional artists—to go beyond mere team play and reach the ‘zone’ known only to the very best ensembles, musical and otherwise.
- Two elements for the modern business environment: Fun and Results—having a sense of fun while producing serious results.
